Craggy Range

Craggy Range was founded by the Peabody Family in 1998 and was the first NZ estate to be distributed by La Place. Craggy Range focuses on producing wines that are expressive of their place, from the two famous North Island terroirs of Hawke’s Bay and Martinborough.

Producing wine from a variety of New Zealand regions, Craggy Range was founded in 1998 after a five year search for the best wine making property that can be found. Today, Craggy Range lives up to their premium property with even more premium wine.

About Craggy Range

With an unrelenting focus on quality, Craggy Range produces a collection of iconic wines from their exceptional estates in Hawke’s Bay, Martinborough, and Marlborough.

New Zealand, with its diversity of soils types, offered the perfect location to plant the vines. From the stony, warm soils of the Gimblett Gravels in Hawke’s Bay to the volcanic, clay soils of Te Muna Road in Martinborough these exceptional vineyards produce wines with amazing aromatics, purity and complexity.
